The E3D Plated Copper Volcano Upgrade Kit is a high-temperature Volcano hotend upgrade built around a plated copper-alloy heater block and a plated copper nozzle. The upgrade is designed to improve thermal performance, maintain better temperature stability, and handle printing conditions that standard aluminium heater blocks cannot.
The copper-alloy heater block is engineered for demanding heat conditions, with a softening point well above 500 C. By comparison, aluminium blocks begin to lose integrity beyond 350 C, making this upgrade better suited to high-temperature 3D printing while still working properly with everyday materials.
A plated copper nozzle is included for a matched extrusion setup.
