I bought this to try to fix the heat creep in my Tevo Tornado that has been an issue ever since I got it years ago. I had swapped out a CR10 Creality hot end and even converted it to a direct drive but still was getting heat creep and clogging with the dreaded extruder clicking. So I bought the Slice Engineering Hotend after doing some research and the Boron Nitrite paste. Wow! I should have sucked it up and did this years ago. I was able to reduce my retraction to 1.5 mm and run about 5 to 10 degrees less with my PLA and have been encountering no clogs at all. It is a pricey fix but it is a very high quality heat break made with premium materials and labor intensive processes. I will slowly upgrade all my Ender 3 type machines now as the Bowden tube clog up and they need attention. I was happy that 3D Printing Canada is stocking these premium heat breaks. They are more than worth the money, super easy to install and as a bonus should make your Bowden Tubes last almost forever! Well not really but they will eliminate that little burnt clog that happens by your nozzle over time or when swapping filament types or brands.

Easy to install. Great alternative to Micro Swiss.
