FAQ

Q: What is the difference between P1S and P1P?

Compared to the P1P, P1S offers a fully enclosed printing chamber and a more powerful cooling solution, which includes an Auxiliary Part Cooling Fan for cooling prints, a Chamber Regulator Fan to stabilize the inner chamber temperature, and a Control Board Fan to assist in cooling the control board. Furthermore, we have equipped it with an activated carbon filter to provide a solution for printing filaments such as ABS that are prone to emitting odours and harmful gases during the printing process.

Q: What is the difference between P1S and X1C?

P1S is based on the P1P with an improved cooling solution and enclosure. However, it is not recommended to directly print fibre-reinforced filaments, such as glass fibre or carbon fibre, before an extruder and hotend upgrade is done. The X1-Carbon is equipped with Micro lidar for advanced AI detection functions and offers more convenient and efficient screen interaction.

Very easy to operate and monitor with the app from anywhere. Does a great job wit PET-G and ABS. Even allows you to add filament if your spool runs out with no effect on the print.

After owning a noname printer with very limited manual adjustment or technical support. The Bambu Lab P1S is a huge step up. The initial setup was very easy and smooth. Then connecting the mobile and desktop apps to allow for sending and checking the status of print tasks was easy as well.

I've had the unit for a couple of weeks now, absolutely love it. Prints come out perfect every time. Was a breeze to setup and was printing 30 minutes after taking it out of the box. The printing speed is very impressive too. My only gripe about the printer is that I didn't get the AMS 2 Pro combo. Would highly recommend this, especially to new-comers to the hobby.

I didn't know when to expect delivery as this was a preorder, but product arrived extremely quick way quicker than I expected! Since I got it the printer has been running none stop.there is a bit of a learning curve with the slicer as it is different than what I'm use to. The only negative things I can say is I did not like the placement of the spool, the printer poop just shooting out the back before every print. Those issues were easily fixed with free files to print right from the slicing program. I love the quality of prints that I am getting right out of the box I looks like I spent hours calibrating the printer. The completely automatic bed leveling alone makes this worth while. My only regrets about buying this printer are not getting the combo unit for the ams and not getting more than one of these. My other 7 printers are now pretty much paper weights. I am looking forward to getting a second unit with ams in the near future.
