El acrilato de estireno de acrilonitrilo, también conocido como filamento ASA en el mundo de la impresión 3D, es un filamento resistente a los rayos UV y a la intemperie. ASA es un filamento de impresión 3D ideal porque tiene muchas propiedades que lo hacen favorable para la impresión de prototipos de alta calidad. El producto terminado tiene un alto brillo y es térmicamente estable a temperaturas más altas. Y de hecho, una cama de alta temperatura es necesaria cuando se imprime con ASA porque ayuda a asegurar un buen agarre.

El encogimiento de ASA está aproximadamente al mismo nivel que el ABS, pero la superficie de los modelos impresos con ASA tiene un acabado de alto brillo.

I've been using the 3D Printing Canada Standard ASA Filament for close to two years now without any major hiccups. I design and print Live sonar support equipment and I've had very few issues with this filament holding up in the extreme cold, Heat and sun. It's great product for outdoor use. Actually it's pretty well my go to filament for anything and everything I print other than some TPU on occasions!

Well I've just found my new go to and it's $13.00 a roll cheaper! Both parts were printed on two different X1C's ... On the top is Polymaker ASA Filament and on the Bottom is 3D Printing Canada ASA Filament. If I were a betting man, I would bet that both these filaments come out of the same factory! Great filament, Fast shipping, Great Price! It's a no brainer for me! Thanks 3D Printing Canada!!!

This is my second review for the filament. After trying 7 different ASA filaments it ranked #3 for my large prints. But the 2 that were better for large parts cost double the price. I would say this is the best value ASA that I have found. I just bought 8 more spools.

Quite disappointed First off the spool fell apart on me a soon as I pulled it out of the box. This ASA has more odour than any other that I have used before. First several feet on the spool was mangled and had to cut it off Only good thing is its one of the least expensive ASAs that I found.

This is my go-to filament for functional prints, anything I want black, or anything that is going to live outside or in a car. There's a reason it is often sold out. Prints really well, clean, and with a nice surface finish.

Very impressed by the quality of the print for this ASA. Definitively top 3 filaments I used. Quite a surprise considering it's price. The only downside is it is a little bit more warpy than average ABS. Small parts print on PEI but any part sensitive to warping will do so. Adding glue stick to the PEI bed gives me 100% yield but you have to deal with additive on the print bed. Worth the effort considering the quality of the print. Printing at 240/110 with 20% fan.

The material is actually ASA but is lacking about .5%-1% black masterbatch and is more gray then Black, try using a 70% loading Masterbatch at 1% total or 2% at 50% loading. IF your colorant is carbon for Black... but you make white so I know you most Likely use pigment colorants as you should just put a bit more in please if your already at 2% MB then I suggest another additive-colorant manufacture like colortech ampacet the filament is decent no weird stuff yet If you are looking for BLACK ASA use 3dxtech ASA its actually black
