El poliuretano termoplástico tiene un ancestro famoso con el que se confunde más comúnmente, el filamento TPE. Pero esta versión más nueva es completamente diferente de su predecesora, ya que tiene mayor resistencia a la abrasión, mayor resistencia química y menor contracción.

Es un filamento flexible multiuso serio que tiene una excelente adhesión de capa.

La resistencia del TPU a la grasa, el aceite y los solventes lo hace más útil para aplicaciones industriales como dispositivos médicos, herramientas eléctricas, paneles de instrumentos automotrices, correas de transmisión, ruedas giratorias, calzado, balsas inflables y estuches para teléfonos móviles.

Crea partes elásticas de goma, y cuanto menos relleno use, más flexible será su objeto terminado. Por lo tanto, su impresión final será un objeto súper estirable que PLA y ABS no pueden imprimir nunca.

TPU también tiene una contracción considerablemente menor en comparación con su antecesor TPE, por lo que si necesita mediciones precisas después de la impresión, es más inteligente quedarse con TPU. También es resistente a los rayos UV y tiene una mejor retención de sus propiedades elásticas a una temperatura más baja y una resolución de impresión más alta que el TPE, por lo que es más adecuado para fabricar piezas mecánicas.

3D Printing Canada Standard TPU Rocks. I prepared myself in advance before printing TPU. It needs to be dry and fed differently to the printer. Once you understand the basics and set your temperatures right the end product is amazing; it is flexible and strong. The possibilities are great. This is a very decent TPU filament. Great layer adhesion, very flexible material. I see from other reviewers pictures he bumpiness of this filament. the trick to make it print smoothly, is to print the first layer at 230c and then go down to 210c. You will be surprised how great the prints come out!

Was a little worried it wouldn't work with my MK4 after reading some horror stories. I just used the default AmazonBasics TPU profile and it printed beautifully. My only complaint is that the filament is kind stuck to itself on the reel and adds a lot of tension to the extruder (and in fact prevented proper homing). I had to peel off a bunch and re-wind it, and do so throughout the print to avoid this.

Used it to print stiff buggy tires, had to print VERY slowly at 235C on my Creality 10s, but it flowed well with a smooth finish. Can control flexibility via thickness, material is tough as well.

Cheaper than Amazon, shipping almost as fast. Nice Easy Transaction good product. Prints Clean, but honestly my experience with TPU is that most brands print good for 3/4 of the roll. The last 1/4 of the roll is where the better brands excel. Since I just got the roll I can't comment for the entire roll. But for the price this TPU seems very good.

Works well, TPU is a little more difficult to print with, but once you fiddle with the settings just right, it works very nicely.

This material prints well however, in the sealed bag there was likely moisture and the roll of filament has stuck to itself around the spool. I've had to unspool and redo the roll in hopes that it seperates from itself before printing, very tedious. Otherwise good strong flexible material and easy to print!

Great product so far! Printed on a stock AnyCubic Chiron with stock Cura settings. Speed 30mm/s, infill 50mm/s, travel 100mm/s, top/bottom layers: 5, retraction enabled 6mm, cooling off, 230°C nozzle 80°C bed. Finish is great but could be better with few settings adjustments.
