El Performance PLA de Matter3D está aprobado por la FDA para uso en alimentos y bebidas, y está fabricado con resina NatureWorks 3D850 pura. Este PLA de grado de ingeniería tiene una mayor cristalización a granel y está desarrollado para aplicaciones de alta temperatura (< 85 °C) y alta resistencia (más fuerte que la mayoría de los materiales ABS). Recocido:
Cualquier pieza fabricada con Performance PLA de Matter3D se puede tratar térmicamente (recocer) para mejorar las propiedades físicas del material. Para recocer una pieza impresa, caliente la pieza a 80 – 130 °C durante un máximo de 30 minutos sumergiéndola en agua caliente o horneándola en un horno.

El Performance PLA de Matter3D se extruye con precisión y se sella inmediatamente al vacío antes de enviarlo con desecante para protegerlo contra la humedad. Este producto está disponible en carretes de 1 kg (2,2 libras) y también se puede pedir en un carrete maestro de 1 kg. Matter3D siempre recomienda secar los filamentos antes de usarlos.

What makes carbon fiber PLA different from standard PLA?

Carbon fiber PLA contains chopped carbon fiber reinforcement that improves stiffness, dimensional stability, and surface finish while reducing visible layer lines compared to standard PLA.


Do I need a hardened nozzle for this filament?

Yes. Carbon fiber filament is abrasive and can wear out standard brass nozzles over time. A hardened steel nozzle is strongly recommended for long-term printing reliability.
