What is PC+ filament used for?

PC+ filament is commonly used for engineering prototypes, tooling, mechanical parts, enclosures, and durable functional applications.

Is PC+ stronger than PLA?

Yes, PC+ generally provides greater mechanical strength, impact resistance, and heat resistance than standard PLA filament.

Does PC+ require a heated bed?

Yes, a heated bed is recommended to improve adhesion and reduce warping during PC+ printing.

Should PC+ be printed in an enclosed printer?

An enclosed printer is strongly recommended because stable chamber temperatures help improve print consistency and reduce warping.

What temperature should PC+ filament be printed at?

PC+ commonly prints between 260°C and 300°C depending on the printer, hotend capability, and print settings.

Does PC+ absorb moisture?

Yes, PC+ can absorb moisture from the air, so dry storage is recommended to maintain optimal print quality.

Can PC+ filament be used on standard desktop 3D printers?

PC+ requires printers capable of higher extrusion temperatures and is best used with all-metal hotends and heated beds.

What are the advantages of PC+ filament?

PC+ offers excellent durability, strong layer adhesion, improved heat resistance, and reliable performance for engineering-grade applications.
