The Bambu Dual-Texture PEI Plate combines a textured PEI side and a smooth PEI side on one magnetic stainless steel plate. Choose the surface finish and print characteristics that suit the part being made.

Textured and smooth PEI features

• Two surface options: The textured side supports first-layer adhesion and durability, while the smooth side can give the bottom of a print a smooth, matte finish.
• Print consistency: The smooth PEI surface contributes to improved Z-axis precision. The 0.5 mm magnetic stainless steel plate enhances magnetic adhesion and helps prevent warping.
• Cooling-assisted release: The textured surface withstands repeated heatbed heating and cooling cycles, and prints release easily once the heatbed reaches room temperature.
• Adhesive guidance: The textured surface does not require adhesive for many materials, though glue may be needed for specific filaments. Recommended settings identify materials and surfaces that require glue stick or liquid glue.
