Hardened steel has excellent durability which means it can stand up to abrasive materials and will outlast most other nozzle materials.

Perfect for use with infused filaments such as carbon fiber, metafil and glow in the dark. These nozzles are also a good choice for printers that are in heavy use to minimize the number of nozzle changes required.

Our MK8 hardened steel nozzles are ideal for printing abrasive and composite materials at temperatures of up to 450°C. Offering excellent wear resistance, they are compatible with all 3D printers and hot ends that print with 1.75mm filament and accept the popular MK8 style nozzle.
Composite filaments such as glow in the dark filaments, carbon fiber-filled filaments, and glass fiber-filled filaments are incredibly abrasive on standard brass nozzles, wearing the interior and the tip down after only a few prints. The results in a marketed decreased in print accuracy.
