The SafetyPro™ AP2 and AP2 Max are air purifiers for laser work, using multi-stage filtration and SuperCyclone separation to capture particles and reduce fumes and odours. Choose the AP2 for desktop laser tasks or the higher-airflow AP2 Max for thick, large-format industrial laser and welding jobs.

Filtration and SuperCyclone particle separation

Up to 7 filtration stages remove 99.97% of particles. The AP2 Max adds an exclusive filter that captures and decomposes formaldehyde into water and CO2.
SuperCyclone pre-filtration separates large particles using 36 cyclones in the AP2 and 72 in the AP2 Max. Cyclone separation captures large particles, helps prevent filter clogging and can extend pre-filter lifespan up to 10 times.
Washable, reusable cyclone supports cleaning and reuse, while filter-life monitoring tracks usage in real time.
Material-specific filtration settings automatically match a mode to the material selected by the user.

Automatic operation and practical maintenance

The purifier can start and stop in sync with xTool lasers, and the shutdown time can be customized to help clear remaining fumes. A high-torque centrifugal motor provides fan output for rapid exhaust, while a magnetic pull-out door gives access to the filter cartridge without dismantling the machine.

The AP2 Max can be used with other brands of laser cutters and welders when the machine requires no more than 700 m³/h and has an exhaust port diameter of 60–110 mm or 200–250 mm. Its smart features will not function with other brands.

The AP2's 3-inch exhaust-pipe compatibility also applies to hybrid 3D printers with laser modules, DTF machines and 3D printers when their exhaust pipe matches this size.

Other equipment compatibility

The AP2 can be used with the IF2 2.0 inline duct fan; the AP2 Max cannot. The AP2 is not suitable for the xTool P3, which has a 238 m³/h fume extraction requirement.
