Sold in 5 metre lengths, cut to order. Each unit is 5 m of filament (approx. 16.75 g). Order more than one and we cut your total length as one continuous piece. Your filament is cut from a master spool, weighed, coiled and sealed in a clean bag. Tullomer is supplied coiled, not on a spool.
| Quantity | Total length | Approx. weight |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 5 m | 16.8 g |
| 2 | 10 m | 33.5 g |
| 3 | 15 m | 50.3 g |
| 4 | 20 m | 67.0 g |
| 5 | 25 m | 83.8 g |
1 m of Tullomer weighs approximately 3.35 g.
Lightweight, rigid and ready to use straight off the printer
Tullomer from Z-Polymers is a fully crystalline, highly rigid 3D printing filament that outperforms most engineering polymers without post-processing. It pairs over 200 MPa tensile strength with a low density of 1.4 g/cm³, making it suited to lightweight, load-bearing structural parts.
Key numbers. Printed Tullomer test specimens reached 250 MPa tensile strength, 25 GPa tensile modulus, 225 MPa flexural strength and 20 GPa flexural modulus (minimum measured values; specimens printed with 100% aligned infill, so real-world parts may differ). Tullomer melts at 280°C, has no glass transition, and stays stable from subzero temperatures to 180°C.
Built for harsh environments. Tullomer is self-extinguishing (UL94 V-0 expected) with minimal outgassing. It resists acids, alkalis, solvents, fuels, oils and UV exposure, forms a strong oxygen and moisture barrier, and offers low creep, abrasion resistance and minimal thermal expansion. A low dielectric constant gives it RF transparency, alongside strong thermal and electrical insulation.
No post-processing. Tullomer parts need no annealing. It runs on industrial high-temperature printers and on consumer printers that reach a 300°C nozzle.
Multi-material reinforcement. On dual-nozzle or tool-changer printers, Tullomer can be printed selectively inside a part made from another material, turning a desktop printer into a composite-part system. Z-Polymers' Z-CAD software places that reinforcement automatically: import a part, choose your reinforcement path, and export a print-ready 3MF. Try it free at z-cad.com.
Raw material and filament are made in the USA.

Before You Buy
Tullomer prints most geometries on high-temperature printers and many geometries on lower-cost consumer printers. Strength and layer adhesion depend on your machine, and some setting adjustments may be needed for your specific part. Recommended print profiles are a starting point and do not guarantee results. Application engineering support for a specific part is not included with material purchases. Tullomer is not compatible with an AMS; run it from an open-air spool holder. No drying is needed.
Printer Requirements & Print Settings
Tullomer needs a nozzle that reaches at least 300°C, a heated bed of at least 110°C, and an enclosure. A high-temperature printer gives the best results; many consumer printers that meet these minimums print small to medium parts well.
| Setting | Reinforcement only | Ideal: consumer printers | Ideal: high-temp printers |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nozzle (°C) | 300 | 325–350 | 350+ |
| Bed (°C) | 110 | 120+ | 180–200+ |
| Chamber (°C) | 45–50 | 65+ | 120+ |
| Infill speed (mm/s) | 100–150 | 100–200 | 100–200 |
| Inner wall speed (mm/s) | 50–100 | 50–100 | 75–100 |
| Outer wall speed (mm/s) | 25 | 25 | 25–50 |
| Part cooling fan | Off | Off | Off |
Bed and adhesion: textured or smooth plates both work; a thick steel plate helps but is optional. An adhesive is required for Tullomer - Z-Polymers recommends Magigoo PC.
Strength vs. layer bonding: Tullomer is strongest in X and Y. Faster speeds and thin layers increase XY strength. Like most FFF materials it is weaker in Z; for better layer bonding, raise nozzle and chamber temperatures, widen line widths, or print slower and with thicker layers.
Warping: keep the part hot throughout the print, and use layers thicker than 0.1 mm on warp-prone geometry.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT USE AN AMS. Tullomer is not compatible with an AMS (automatic material system), and forcing it through one may damage the material and your equipment. Standard operation is an open-air external spool holder. Tullomer does not absorb moisture and does not need to be dried.
