Bambu Lab PA6-CF

The Bambu Lab PA6-CF filament is a high-performance material reinforced with carbon fiber, engineered for demanding applications requiring exceptional strength, heat resistance, and rigidity. This nylon-based filament is perfect for functional parts, automotive components, and other projects subjected to stress and high temperatures. PA6-CF is known for its low warping and dimensional stability, ensuring precise, durable prints. For optimal results, a hardened steel nozzle is recommended due to the abrasive nature of carbon fiber. Bambu Lab PA6-CF delivers industrial-grade quality, ideal for users seeking durability and functionality in their 3D printed parts.

Printing Tips

• Drying conditions: 80℃ for 10 hrs. PA6-CF is highly sensitive to humidity. To achieve optimal printing performance, it is recommeded further drying before use and after storage. For more details please refer to: Filament drying instructions on WIKI.

Bambu PA6-CF will experience a decrease in strength and stiffness after absorbing water, making it not recommended for printing models with high requirements for strength, stiffness, and dimensional stability, especially thin and elongated models. The prints of PA6-CF usually become tougher and more resistant to impacts, drops, and collisions when they get damp, you can dampen and soften the prints in advance if the model requires high toughness.

• When printing a model with support, it is necessary to remove the support structure within 2 hours to prevent it from being difficult to remove after being damp and softened. Please dry the prints and let them cool down if it is difficult to remove the support, and then remove the support in time.

• Fully impregnating the surface of the prints with paint, wax and other water-proof coatings can inhibit water absorption and prevent them from becoming soft.
