I bought this after going through a few of the Ultrabase glass surfaces on my Tevo Tornado that has been modified with a custom aluminum heat/build plate that accepts CR10 size glass build plates. The glass always seemed to warp with continued heat and cool cycles creating leveling issues even with an ABL installed. The good about this carbon fiber is that is is very rigid and super flat, so far it keeps it's level pretty well. It is expensive but so is replacing coated glass build surfaces. The bad is that it is so slick that you must use glue (which I do anyway) and lots to prevent separation during a print. I plan on giving my plate a very fine scuffing to try to fix this so that I can just use a light coat of Magigoo rather than the heavier but dependable Pritt glue stick that has been my faithful go to over the years. Anyway! I will update if there are any issue but so far I am very pleased with the flatness and rigidity of this build surface. It will just take a bit more of experimenting to figure out what glue and how much makes for perfect prints.
