Large-format 3D printing with industrial-scale build volume
The Modix BIG-Meter is a large-format 3D printer with a 1,000 × 1,000 × 1,000 mm build area. It is designed for full-scale prototypes, tooling, moulds and end-use parts in a single print.
GEN5 hardware for faster, more capable printing
- Griffin Ultra print head for high-speed printing, with the page stating up to 6× faster performance.
- GEN5 electronics with Duet 3 6HC, CAN bus print heads, Ethernet and a removable Wi‑Fi dongle.
- New touchscreen and a tool board with accelerometer on the print head.
- Included enclosure, HIWIN Z rails, tilt screen with E-stop, casters and an 8 kg spool shelf as standard.
Large-part production and modular use cases
The BIG-Meter suits makers, engineers and small teams that need meter-scale output for prototypes, fixtures, tooling and production parts. Its 3-zone heated bed, individually controlled Z motors and 100-point bed levelling support consistent results on large prints.
