PETG Filaments

140 products

Presenting a huge range of PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol) filaments for your FDM, FFF, and Delta printers at competitive prices. Whether your requirement is a transparent or a vibrant model preparation, we have everything available for you.

PETG is known not only for its versatility but also its heat resilience and indestructibility compared to PLA(Polylactic acid), and printing is easier with PETG than with ABS(Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene). Expect great strength, flexibility, and very low shrinkage from the range of filaments we are showcasing in this collection.

Specifications To Select From Our Stock

Brands

Hundred-plus products are available in custom options with five highly reputable brands (3D Printing Canada, 3DX Tech, Matter 3D, Spectrum, and Zaxe).

Spool size

Whether you need a smaller or a larger size ranging from 0.5kg to 10kg, you can choose it at our online store.

Materials

Two types of PETG filaments are used in 3D printing: PETG and PETG/PTFE. Both types of filaments have distinct properties. PETG is known for its strength and transparency, while PETG/PTFE is known for its easy release and smoother printing.

Colours

From lightest to darkest, there are a total of 48 colours available in these filaments.

Why Choose PETG Filaments

Durable

PETG filaments are fairly strong, more resistant, and less brittle than PLA. Its heat-forming manufacturing techniques make it popular and can withstand mechanical stress easily. These filaments can last for over a year and are ideal for functional parts and have a tensile strength of around 50Mpa (maximum stress), more than that of ABS.

Chemical resistance

These filaments are compatible with various chemicals, including salts, acids, alkalis, solvents, and greases, and are suitable in harsh environments.

Ease of printing

PETG 3D printing services can be delivered well at nozzle temperatures ranging from 230°C to 250°C, resulting in durable and strong printed objects.

FAQs

What is PETG filament?

PETG stands for Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol, a member of the PET family. In this term, G stands for glycol-modified, known for its glass-like appearance which is used to make the final product clear and visible.

How does PETG compare to other filaments like PLA and ABS?

PETG is strong and durable, while PLA is more brittle and can break easily. ABS is generally tougher than PLA but may not match the durability of PETG. In terms of its temperature, PETG has good temperature resistance and is capable of withstanding temperatures higher than PLA but lower than ABS.

Can PETG filaments be used for outdoor or UV-exposed applications?

Yes, PETG filaments can be used outdoors and these are more UV-resistant than PLA and ABS. If you plan to use it under the sun or UV radiation for extended periods, it might start to degrade.
